Here is the video that Mari Shot and edited
for the Ovarian Cancer Benefit on Sat.
We were raising money for the education
and awareness of Ovarian Cancer
in Routt County.  It was A LOT of
fun, I think everyone who attended
had a great time!
Lori Livingston the head of the
Norma Livingston Ovarian Cancer
Foundation won Mari's Egg that she
painted to be auctioned off.
(see the egg painting blog below)

NO MORE PAPER ROUTE!

Our first breakfast together on a weekday in a year and four months!  woo hoo!
Preston is officially done with the paper route!  So we actually get to see each other in the morning and have breakfast together!  Much better than by ourselves.  We are so excited for all the changes that will be happening in our live now that the route is over.  like.... not having to go to bed at 8:30pm!  and not having to wake up 7 days a week at 3am. Now that's something you can cheers your coffee to!

EGGS 2 OVARIES

EGGS 2 OVARIES!!

Mari is helping chair an event here in Steamboat to
raise money for education and awareness of Ovarian
Cancer in Routt County!  She has worked very had on
the event and can't wait to see how it turns out!

The board for the event decided that we would call
it Eggs 2 Ovaries ask Local Artists to paint on real
ostrich eggs!  The creations will be auctioned off at
he event here at 6:30pm at Three Peaks Grill on
May 17th.

This has been a LOT of work and many hours spent
in meetings and designing the night...
making all the graphics... asking for donations... and video taping 3 local ladies that
are fighting the disease today!  We look forward to the Event!!

Here is Mari painting her egg...
She is one of the two youngest artists
who will be participating and the only
local artist who doesn't do this as a real
job...

TA-DA...
the Egg is done and ready to be auctioned off!

The Eggs are on display at K. Saari Gallery
the week of the 9th through the 16th for
the general public to view at no cost.  This is
the first time Mari's work has ever been
displayed in a public gallery!

If you watched Chanel 18 here in Steamboat
on May 8th then you may have seen Mari,
Traci and Kimberly on the morning show
talking about the event!

We will give another update when the Event is over...
We will tell you how much Mari's egg went for...
Till then... keep watching...

OUR INTENSE SUMMER PROJECT

Preston's NEW/OLD Beetle!

Preston bought this very consuming summer project from Uncle Jeff and can't wait to work on it and customize the interior and give it a new paint job!  Wow, I can only imagine the wealth of knowledge the two of us will have by the end of this!  Sheesh...

Vince and Gretchen our obsessive-culinary-pals  come over to make SUSHI dinner!  WE LOVE SUSHI... Preston and Gretchen set the table (and what a nice job they have done) while chef Vincent shows Mari a few more Sushi Tricks.  (Mari makes sushi but not like vince makes sushi - he's a pro) Thanks Gretch and Vince for the fabulous and delicious night!!

FOOD!!

If you know Preston at all you know that he has a intense LOVE for food!  Here is the steak and eggs he fixed himself the first saturday morning we stayed at Jody and Erik Feeley's House.
